School Mind & Body Program

Today’s young people are navigating a complex emotional landscape, 

from rising anxiety to fluctuating confidence.. 

Emotional overwhelm is becoming one of the most pressing concerns in education. 

A State of Mind Studio recognises this and has created a structured educational wellness programs that journeys over 6-sessions within the schools setting.

The Mind & Body Program supports young people aged 11–16, encouraging self-connection, self-confidence and the understanding of emotional regulation, offering each young person a personal toolkit to take with them through life.

Program Overview


6 weekly sessions (max 6 students)

Each session is a carefully curated framework of:


Gentle movement for emotional control (Pathways 2 & 3)

Stretching to release stress (Pathways 2 & 3)
Journaling and reflection prompts for self awareness (Pathway 1)
Emotional literacy and self-regulation tools (Pathways 5 & 6)
Breath-work for emotional stability  (Pathways 6 & 9)

Parasympathetic nervous system stimulation (Pathways 6 & 9)
Education of hormones, nutrition, hydration and sleep (Pathways 4 & 7)
Positive thinking, communication & goal setting (Pathways 7, 8 & 10)


 Learning Outcomes:
Improved self-awareness
Increased capacity to regulate emotions, including anxiety, frustration and overwhelm
Practical strategies to manage school-related stress
Confidence in navigating friendships, boundaries and self-worth
A sense of calm, self worth, belonging and inner resilience.

Staff & Student Support

We understand that schools are stretched, with staff, with time and with emotional energy, therefore this program is here to support wellbeing goals, gently slotting into your timetable without overwhelming staff or students.

Whether you are seeking: 

• Early intervention for students with emotional dysregulation
• A gentle wellbeing offering as part of PSHE
• Small group support for anxiety, stress, panic or low confidence
• Or simply a safe space where students feel seen, heard and understood

• Teacher Debrief Available – For integrated support

• No equipment required (Provided by the studio)
